Year 4 visited Liverpool today. We learned about the imports and exports that the city used to trade. After time looking around the Museum of Liverpool, we walked around Albert Dock and surveyed people on their reasons for being in the city. Finally, we went on the ferry across the Mersey to view the landmarks.

Year 4 Geography trip to LIverpool, by Mrs Hamlin

Year 4 had a great time in Liverpool.  We visited the museum of Liverpool and learnt all about the importance of the River Mersey, we walked around the Albert Dock and we enjoyed a trip on the ferry.  Why not take a look at our photos?

This half term, Year 4 created some fantastic representations of Liverpool landmarks. We have learned super facts about famous Liverpudlians from talks off some of the class, whilst other children have amazed us with their programming skills using Scratch.

To celebrate European Day of Languages we conducted a carousel of activities which included learning some traditional French playground games and rhymes, creating our own langauge themed board games, looking at flags from around the world and learning some German.
